The Bayhall Filtamate is a classic in-line carbon filter that is great for removing chlorine and turning your tap water into bottled quality water. We don't stock the original Bayhall cartridges. However our own brand special replacement cartridge gives you the same performance for better value.

Fitting Your New Unit

This is very easy. All you do basically is take the tubing out of your old filter and feed it through the compression nut fittings supplied into your new filter.

Full and easy fitting instructions are supplied.


More About The Female Connector

The female connection type is where the tube fits directly into the filter - like your Bayhall Filtamate.

Our filters accept plastic water tubes a quarter inch ie 6.4 mm outside diameter.

This is the size of the great majority of plastic tubing for water filters including the Bayhall.

However if your tube size is different, no problem. We can supply adaptors. Simply let us know either before or after you order.

If you are not sure of your tube size you can simply order the filter now. Don't worry we will help you sort out the adapters later IF you need them (unlikely). They will still be free. We'll send them out immediately. It really is very simple.

If you need tube adaptors, they usually cost £4.

Your filter cartridge will need changing every 6 months.

Connector Size

Accepts 1/4 inch (6.4mm) Tubing. This is the standard size for the great majority of water filters. If your tube is a different size - which is unlikely - don't worry, we can supply adaptors. These cost around £4 - depending on the exact size required. You will only need to buy them once.
