They’re convenient - you get instant access to boiling water - plus you don’t waste electricity by boiling more water in a kettle than you need.

Boiling taps usually come with a pre-fitted water filter.
This gives you great tasting water. But when it’s time to replace the filter, many customers find the replacement cartridges turn out to be very expensive.
They can cost as much as five or even ten percent of the original tap!

Note: You might not need anti-scale
What can further increase the cost is the anti scale material in the filter.
This is to protect your water tank. But you don't need this if you’re in an area with low limescale.
