About Smeg Fridges
Smeg is an Italian home appliance manufacturer established in 1948. Their line of products include refrigerators and freezers, ovens, dishwashers, laundry, coffee machines, hobs, cookers, hoods and sinks.
Smeg is well known for its aesthetic design concepts involving home appliances. Technological performance, durability, safety and environmental friendliness are also considered seriously by the company.
Smeg’s retro-styled refrigerators have curved corners and come in cool non-traditional colours such as steel, blue denim, chocolate and tricolore.
Smeg has been a family run business from the beginning. The company has special divisions which handle products for restaurants and medical applications.
Using refrigerator water filters is economically and environmentally more beneficial than using bottled water.
Smeg's range of refrigerator water filters are manufactured by Whirlpool and other generic filters can also be used with Smeg refrigerators. These filters reduce harmful contents such as lead, cysts, asbestos, Toxaphene, Atrazine, Lindane and other particulates. Reducing the taste and odor of chlorine while retaining fluoride is very beneficial.
These filters can be purchased in one pack, two pack, three pack or four pack sizes. Smeg advises customers to replace the fridge filters every six months for best performance and to ensure fresh and clean water.
You can remove the filter by just pressing the release button. These filters are available for all types of Smeg's refrigerators including combined, double door, home bar, side-by-side and single door.
